VIDEO RECORDING & UPLOADING

Easy to record a training video using a simple phone with video recording capability. You can either either have a friend or family member record your training, use a tripod to secure, or prop the camera in some fashion to be pointing at you and the dog.

Location

Depending on your training location, performance exercise, and camera positioning, you may want to first consider whether to use portait vs. landscape mode to record. Avoid filming into sunlight or bright lit areas like windows. Video playback may be difficult to view. Recording height is also important. Best to have camera filming at a point that is midsection in height to the dog and handler. Also, be sure to capture both dog and handler, if possible. Filming just the dog will not show how the handler may have contributed to its performance or focusing on just the handler will not show the subsequent reaction of the dog.
